Bharat Mines & Minerals (BMM) is a long term innovator in Soapstone Mining and Processing, established in 2003 with a vision to produce high quality talc for its end users.
We specialize in providing companies with a range of comprehensive and customized products. Our company operates two processing plants and three mines, producing a wide variety of grades consumed in various industries including Polymer Industry, Rubber Industry, Cosmetic Industry, Paper Industry, Pharmaceuticals Industry, etc. The company has its own R&D department for innovation, quality control and product customization.
We serve our customers all over India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Europe and NE Asia.

We believe in sustainable development and ensure that all the processes carried out in our facilities have minimum impact on the environment. We are continually developing and integrating practices that reduce the environmental impact of mining operations. These practices include measures such as reducing water and energy consumption, minimizing land disturbance and waste production, preventing soil, water, and air pollution at mine sites, and conducting successful mine closure and reclamation activities.
We ensure a safe working environment for our staff by following safety protocols. Being a mining and talc producing company our staff faces various occupational hazards. These include physical hazards caused by mining activities and health hazards caused due to the generation of dust during talc production. We control occupational dust exposure by minimizing dust generation and release. We frequently organize awareness programs for employees to educate them about the health and safety measures for their well-being.
We own four mines. This ensures continuous supply of raw material with consistent quality, which guarantees reliable quality of the finished product.
Our own deposits and processing plants enable us to first analyze the market requirements and then offer the customized products to our customers.
Mining has always been a part of Uttarakhand's landscape, playing a major part in the development of this state. We have been focusing on more efficient and productive mining activities to ensure minimum impact on environment.
